Bespoke selections

Let us do the hard work for you. Our team of qualified, experienced librarians and curriculum specialists can select your new books for you based on your requirements.

We can advise on the latest children's and young adult publishing, from board books and picture books through to teen and graphic novels. We read and review more than 10,000 newly published children's and young adult books every year, and evaluate a wide range of adult titles, so you can be sure you're getting the best and most relevant new titles, as well as popular classics.

We can also recommend titles to support Accelerated Reader™ and other reading programmes, as well as texts to support the national curriculum and exam board specifications for EYFS/Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 5 and beyond.

Here are just a few of the things we can support you with:

  •  Updating phonics provision within your school
  •  School library fiction and non-fiction for primary and secondary
  •  Selections of book banded or Accelerated Reader™ titles
  •  Wider reading suggestions for GCSE and A Level students
  • "The expert team at Peters created a fantastic book list to complement the KS3 English knowledge-rich curriculum of one of our schools, saving us hours of work and broadening book choices. These now provide a great resource in the school library to support students’ understanding of the curriculum and extend their reading."

Nicola Gale, Project Manager, School Development Support Agency (SDSA)
